Comfortable Baťa house in a colony of red-brick homes

Lovely Baťa house in a colony of similar red-brick homes, within walking distance of downtown Zlín. Although the garden was under renovation, it didn’t bother us. There were friendly animals in the house. The rooms, while a bit small and outdated, were comfortable and reminded us of old times at our grandmothers’ homes. The host was friendly and talkative — he made me a delicious coffee on Sunday morning before we left. Zlín is an amazing place for a weekend getaway!

− We have no big complaints, as we only used the house for sleeping and spent the entire time exploring the city of Zlín.

Super friendly, easygoing host who speaks excellent English (and German). Friendly animals. Upstairs is perfect for a family of four or five.

− Have the host pinpoint the house location for you because the building numbers along the row of houses are completely out of whack.

Excellent location near to the centre of Zlin. Great host, Georg, who speaks English brilliantly. Amazing to visit a Bata property which has been renovated to a very high standard.

− Kiko is a lovely dog who is very friendly when he gets to know you, but if you don't like dogs, or are allergic to cats, let Georg know and he will accommodate your needs.
