This house has a lot of potential, but needs more care and effort invested into it for the price

The dining room was modernised and upto date. The manager tried to be helpful with the issues, and managed to fix a few of them. He responded to our initial email immediately, but then not everything could be resolved during our stay which was disappointing.

− We chose this property over others which were quite a bit less expensive, because the pictures looked very modern and gave an impression of a luxury apartment. We were very disappointed to have paid 'top-dollar' and then arrived to something which in some areas was really below the basic standard. The parquet was peeling in the hallway when we entered, with cobwebs hanging from the ceiling in the kitchen, broken child-locks hanging from the cabinets, spiderwebs on the windows, oven was dirty, and fridge was smelly. A few of the windows were broken so could not be opened, which was frustrating as we booked this during August when it was hot. There is a large garden at the back, but it was untended, and although the grass was cut, the edges were overgrown, with broken benches etc, which we had to request to be removed as they were a hazard. The beds were decent size, but the matresses are long overdue to be replaced - if you enjoy sleeping on a bouncy castle then these are for you! Unfortunately although they have a dedicated customer service email address, the representative often answered generic responses instead of reading the request properly, which caused a lot of time-wasting and delayed the resolution. Eventually when we got hold of the manager, he responded properly, but by then it was too late to resolve that which we were concerned about.
