Clean and comfortable riverside holiday in Highley.

This was an amazing little place. Not too fancy and no frills but clean, comfortable and in a superb riverside location next to the pub and steam railway. Towels were provided and the kitchen was well equiped for our stay. The downstairs wet room and bedroom is ideal if I bring my Grandad next time as he struggles woth stairs. A nice gesture was a bottle of wine for our arrival.

− There was not much decoration e.g. a few picutures on the walls etc would make it look a little more homely. Instead of wine some tea, coffee and milk would have been more useful. Fortunately I got all this en route but some places provide it so you can arrive and have a cuppa before going out shopping etc and perhaps could be mentioned on the welcome email that you need to get this before you arrive.

Lovely location, right on the river front with a pub next door serving good food and reasonably priced.

− Parking was fine but did find some pub customers in the reserved spot a couple of times. Not a big problem and did move when we explained we had someone with us who couldn't walk far.
