A property with potential, but don't expect help from the property manager if there is an issue.

Well-appointed property in a lovely location, with views across water. Three living areas and multiple bedrooms (if usable) mean the property is quite flexible and there were lots of books and games.

− Bugs!! On the first night of our stay, we were overrun with bugs. We contacted the property manager who told us it's nature and that bugs are everywhere. We were told to close all the windows and doors and turn off the lights. The windows were open on our arrival, which we later learned was to help with paint fumes as the house had just been painted. One of the bedrooms was not habitable unless you were happy to have bugs crawling on you or to inhale them as you slept. The bugs were also in the pantry, cupboards with plates etc, bench tops. It is understood that bugs are a part of nature, just not inside and to that degree. In the afternoon on the last day of our stay, a can of bug spray was dropped off. The property was already covered in dead bugs. No cleaning was offered during the stay. No compensation was provided for the uninhabitable room and the unclean / unhygienic state of the remainder of the property. Other minor inconveniences included a sticky front door latch and no access to the garage.

Fabulous. We had a great stay and everything was convenient.

− Air con or more efficient heating would be good. But warmed up.
