A cabin with everything you'll ever want!
10.0The cabin had tons of amenities, and was incredibly well stocked. Anything you regret forgetting, there's a good chance the cabin already has one (bottle opener, BBQ tongs, spices, TONS of dishes, blankets, pillows, etc). It was an extremely cozy space yet actually far BIGGER than the photos let on. There's lots of beds and sleeping space perfect for multiple families staying together. It also had the perfect amount of snow, enough for the kids to play in the front yard without having to leave to find a bunny hill elsewhere. The combination of full kitchen, Blackstone grill, and barbecue give you excellent cooking options. The hot tub was also super popular with my group. Overall it allows for such a self sufficient vacation you can do a ton of things without even needing to leave the property. We were extremely impressed with the experience.
− Getting up to the property (at night) is tricky and the dirt road is a bit scary in bad weather. Though it's very close to I-5 so it's only an issue if you're heading up during a deluge or ice storm. Downstairs can get a bit chilly even with the heater running.
We can’t wait to come back next summer
10.0We do this trip once year for the last 3 or 4 years and just this home. The location is great and on the trips where it’s just too hot to do much the house and pool have been fantastic.
− I don’t have any negative feedback. The house continues to evolve from adding the hot tub (which has been a hit with our group) to the changes (upgrades) in the sleeping arrangements that are being planned.
Nice gathering of parents and kids close to Shasta Lake
9.0We liked the cabin, it’s made out of wood and makes it look like real cabin. We liked privacy with no neighbors beside the wild life. The backyard was the most beautiful and peaceful place to spend mornings and evenings.
− Shasta region is almost all in the forest, this house is not an exception. The road to the house was dirty and bulky for the boat trailer. This is the only thing that we were not happy about, but the house itself was great!
