10.0Everything! The fabulous and friendly host absolutely made our stay! The care and attention to the interior of both the common areas and the bedrooms reflects the pride and love that has been put into making such a beautiful setting for their guests. The delicious breakfast in the morning just topped off our lovely experience (Thank for accommodating my annoying dietary requests!). If we’re in the area again, we will, without a doubt, book here again.
We had an amazing stay at Hugh and Dwayne place I hidden gem will be back for sure .

A very special experience with the beautiful scenery combined with the gorgeous place and hosts .. really was a
10.0Beautiful.. tastefully decorated but also with a comfortable homely feel. Warm, clean and so comfortable. The hosts were fantastic very hospitable, tasty lovely food and made you feel like family.
− There isn't anything not to like.. maybe I didn't have enough days there !

10.0We didn’t expect to find such a hidden gem! The photos do not reflect even half of the charm of this amazing house - it is a box with treasures, you can spend the whole evening just exploring them! The rooms are beautifully decorated, each with its own character. The house is in a beautiful place on the lake, which conveniently located near Twizel and on the way to Mt Cook. But putting aside the beauty of the place itself, Hugh and Dwayne will make your stay special as the whole story of this place is really inspiring. Please say yes if you are offered a dinner - you will definitely enjoy great food, wine and wonderful company, and I doubt any Twizel restaurants can offer the same:) We left with the feeling that we made new friends! One of the best places we’ve ever stayed in! Hopefully, we will be able to return some day:)
