Location, beach, patio & deck. Each bedroom had its own bath (Bathrooms old and had staining in areas but clean toilet/shower)

− In need of deep clean; odor upon entering home (esp. kitchen) walls and woodwork soiled in need of paint. Many many cobwebs. More then a few windows and window shades were not functional. A/C minimal, fans also available but caked with dust. Cute home lots lots potential (too many knickknacks/dust c0llectors) for a rental. Kitchen had most items needed to get by but stored all hodgepodge, no space dedicated for foodstorage, had to clear a few shelves of cabinet to make room. Frig and oven were fine. Pantry remnants/stables from prior guest (cooktop area)in cabinet (oil, coffee, spices breadcrumbs etc) Thanks but no thanks, nothing related to food consumption should be left. (Should be on checklist for housekeepers) I had packed lite as unit listing stated it had washer and dryer ( no thank you) The closet that stored the units (also in kitchen) had an odor the outside of washer was rusty and covered in stickers. The tops closed and a few items stored on top. Bedding - mattresses meh... twins hard and a tad squeaky -ok for kids not for adults. The other beds were better and all did have plastic protectors on. Note: sheets/blanket bring your own! (bedspreads are cute decor showing seasonal wear) The outside rear patio area had green moss on entry door and threshold (we cleaned as it was an eyesore and constant reminder of the homes interior state. (note: went to use hose on door -yup, you guessed it not connected broken on ground and faucet dripping) Note: Grill is charchoal, not gas Was the house all bad, no. Can and do you expect a rental to have some issues and not be as clean as home Yes, but this was just too much especial for the location and price point in my opinion. Perhaps the owners are unaware of the homes condition but I myself would be most embarrassed and feel they should as well to offer this rental in this state at the price. YOU CAN and should do better! People are on vacation - V A C A T I O N!
