10.0You can see the sea from the lodge. It takes roughly 30 mins to walk to Hastings Beach/seafront shops. Just be mindful that it's uphill on the way back! The swimming pool is included in the price. The size of the lodge was perfect for 2 adults and 2 children. It was lovely and clean, and the hosts had left us some milk and wine. Nice to have the terrace area to relax in the sun and read a book. It is a peaceful site, perfect for a relaxing holiday.
Beautiful location
10.0Communication with hosts (Sarah and Paul) was just right. Instructions for collection of keys and access to the property were clear and provided in plenty of time. The accommodation was very clean and well-presented. We spent most of our time elsewhere so didn't make use of all the facilities. There were plenty of things provided, though, should we have needed them. On arrival, we found that the hosts had left a cake and a bottle of wine, which was a lovely surprise. It is a short distance from The Stag, which is a lovely pub (about a 20 minute walk). There is a theatre (The Stables) across from the pub. The holiday park is located within easy reach of Hastings town centre and old town (whether walking or driving)
− This is nothing against the lodge or the hosts, just something for visiting to note - the road leading up is very narrow, and very steep.

9.0Ich habe zum zweiten Mal meinen Urlaub in dieser Lodge verbracht. Die Lage ist einfach fantastisch! Mit Blick auf das Naturschutzgebiet und den Ärmelkanal ist es hier sehr ruhig. In der Küche findet man einen Induktionsherd, eine Mikrowelle und einen Backofen. Bei meiner Ankunft waren schon ein Kuchen, eine Flasche Wein und Milch im Kühlschrank, Eine nette Geste! Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und fragen hin und wieder nach, ob etwas fehlt, oder ob sie etwas für mich tun können. Auch für Ausflüge zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten in East Sussex ist die Lage ideal! Vieles ist in nur einer Stunde Fahrzeit zu erreichen. Es war wieder ein entspannter Urlaub!

9.0Clean, comfortable, well appointed and stocked. Wine cake and milk to greet us on arrival. Clear communication and support from the host. Brilliant location. Nice indoor heated pool our 3yo really enjoyed. Nice local walks. Quick drive to all amenities in Hastings. Everything you need for cooking. Photos undersell the property. Nice view of the sea. The park staff also very helpful.
