Schöne Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage am Ortsrand

Wir waren für eine Woche im Juli im New Forest, diese wunderschöne Unterkunft hat alle unsere Erwartungen erfüllt, ausreichend Platz für zwei und unseren Terrier. Genügend Platz in der Küche, ein geräumige Dusche und einen Parkplatz direkt am Haus. Das Beste ist der Balkon und die große Schiebetür, morgens in die Kühle genießen und abends die letzten Sonnenstrahlen, herrlich.

− Das Bett im Schlafzimmer ist breit genug für zwei, aber schmal, so breit wie es bei den Räumlichkeiten eben geht.

Als je relaxt en comfortable in dit gebied wil verblijven is deze accommodatie een topper

Wunderschöne ruhige Lage in einem kleinen Ort. Gemütliche und geschmackvoll eingerichtete, moderne Wohnung mit tollem Balkon mit Blick in die Landschaft. Einfach Klasse. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

It's individuality and sun trap balcony. Even in March. To be fair. We didnt really want to review as want it available when we travel to area. But it's a lovely place at reasonable prices. And needs to be stated. Quiet, comfortable with great balcony experience.

Nice but.....

Location fab; balcony was a lovely feature; peaceful; nice bathroom.

− No washing machine ( despite being listed as a facility on booking platform). Sofa stained on seat and back cushion and very uncomfortable. Bar stools heavily stained (unusable). We were there during a heatwave (May half term). The balcony is fully south facing, and although there is balcony furniture, there is no parasol (we did ask the on-site owners if we could borrow one, but theirs had broken the same day...). Be warned, if it is sunny/ warm weather, the whole apartment becomes UNBEARABLY HOT as it is affected by the solar input from the bi-fold doors. The composite decking actually burnt the soles of my husband's feet and our dog's paws! Therefore, you will need to make plans to be out of the accommodation for the bulk of the day. (Note: there are 2 fans, which are wholly inadequate in anything above 20 degree weather). Additionally, we were contacted by the home owner whilst we were out on our 2nd day asking if we minded the front door being fixed by a glazing tradesperson (it wasn't broken, just loose apparently, not something we reported). We gave permission, but unfortunately the job was only begun once we arrived back at the end of the afternoon. This disturbed our stay as we tried to relax after a busy day. Surely this could have been arranged between changeovers of 11am-3pm? Especially as our stay was only originally for 3 nights! Finally, we sadly had to leave at 7.30am on our penultimate morning due to our other dog becoming poorly at home. We gave notice of this before our departure. Tragically, the dog passed away and when I reached out to the accommodation owner about the 3rd night that we weren't able to stay for, she completely ignored my message. We accept that we booked 3 nights and it was our OWN issue that made us leave, but some compassion/ an answer to my messages would have been greatly appreciated. Shame really.
