− Master bed room bathroom couldn't be used cos of a leak which was going in to the living room we wasn't told about this I rang about it wasn't offered any discount or refund no batteries in any controllers so couldnt use TV

This is a large house and can comfortably accommodate a large family. Very nice to have several bathrooms and a separate area for the washing machine. Kitchen was large with a good sized dining table. Comfortable seating areas. A few cosmetic fixes here and there would be beneficial, e.g. wallpaper peeling However, Overall good value.

− Communication was poor. We traveled overnight from the US and received no check-in information in advance. I called on my way from the airport and got quite a rude response that none would be provided until the house had been cleaned. In order to continue communication I was advised to use WhatsApp. I use WhatsApp but not all travelers from the US will. At 4 pm which is the check-in time, we still had no information. So we sat outside the house and waited for the owner to arrive. Since there is a lockbox, the key should be put in the box when the house is ready and information should be provided to guests in advance. The ability to check-in cannot rely on someone having a phone. I like to print out key details as a backup when I travel. This was unnecessarily stressful and nothing like I experienced before. We also had some challenges with the heating and it took over an hour to get a response. If the heating is off, the thermostat has to be reset remotely. With this being the case, messages or calls need to be monitored more carefully.
