Large house, somewhat outdated facilities, and an ignorant and disrespectful hostess.

The house was large and the amenities such as air conditioning and a table and chairs were very good.

− WE PAID 75 EUROS FOR CLEANING SERVICE, AND SHE INSULTED US BECAUSE WE DIDN'T TAKE THE TRASH DOWNSTAIRS, and they refused to sweep the floor. What shamelessness! The hostess is the worst I've ever encountered. She doesn't respect schedules; she arrived an hour later than the agreed-upon time to give us the keys. We also found bugs on the sofa, loose door handles that keep coming off, Third floor without elevator, very noisy street, and then she expects us to be the cleaners, We were 6 and we stayed for five days. When we left, we tidied the house and took out most of the trash (we took out six bags ourselves) and left a bag of trash by the front door so the cleaning staff could easily dispose of it. We also washed all the dishes, and so on. Then she complains to us via WhatsApp (teasingly) that the sofa was slightly tilted from its original position. (stupidity) and that there were 3 pieces of paper lying on the floor, a slightly wrinkled carpet (it literally takes 3 seconds to straighten it out), and confetti on the floor (from celebrating a friend's birthday, and a confetti balloon popped accidentally, thinking that we paid 75 euros for cleaning service, and they're going to have to sweep the floor anyway, we didn't sweep it, there wasn't much anyway), well, the hostess started insulting us. I told her that she has to have a cleaning team to clean the house after each stay but apparently she doesn't and expects us to clean everything for her.

Inaccessible, cold, misleading listing would not recommend.

− We had a very unsatisfactory experience with Carolina and this property. We were travelling with a baby and the apartment is located up 6 flights of stairs on the 3rd floor with no elevator, which was not suitable for us and not mentioned in the listing. We were informed after the booking was complete. The apartment was cold as the AC did not cover the whole apartment, there was no heat source in the kitchen or bathrooms which resulted in these areas being very cold along with all the floors and walls even with the AC heat on full it did not warm. The photos of the apartment were better than the reality, the apartment door was difficult to open with multiple locks some operating and some not, there was writing scratched into the table, burn holes in the curtains, multiple cracked glassware, the kitchen cabinets and utensils were poor. The power went out for a time and only that my partner knew how to locate and reset the circuit breaker we would not have had a swift resolution. There was no lighting on top 4 flights of stairs out of 7 after that point. We were told by the host that it wouldn’t be safe to leave our baby buggy at the bottom of the stairs. Ultimately there were multiple reasons for us to not be happy with this apartment. We had to find alternate accommodation and requested a refund for the nights we did not stay but our request was denied and Carolina was dishonest about the listing and its inaccessibility. We reached out to Booking.com customer service who stated the property would not issue a refund and there was nothing more they could do. We would not have had to leave or complained without reason, and would have never booked this property knowingly. I would not recommend it. We stayed in other properties in Pavoa da Varzim that were much nicer, warmer, accessible and more accommodating overall.

− Demasiado ruido de la calle, si pudieran insonorizarlo un poco más seria ideal.
