This is a great space for a large group in a lovely location on the edge of London.

Well designed space for large family or group of friends. Quiet road. Lovely location on the edge of London but close to tube station on the Northern Line. Sheltered garden which was a sun trap during our stay.

− There were a few snagging issues e.g. a front door that was extremely difficult to lock and an unsteady hand rail. The host who was very friendly was going to address these.

nice house and host was very accommodating

Very disappointing stay. Our privacy was watched on CCTV and our family occasion was ruined.

The location was reasonable, but it did not make up for the many problems we experienced.

− This was one of the worst and most upsetting experiences I have ever had when booking accommodation. I booked this property to celebrate my child’s birthday with a small family BBQ. The listing clearly says the house can take up to 16 guests. There was no loud music, no disturbance, and no bad behaviour. However, the host was watching and counting people through CCTV, which was never mentioned in the listing. He seemed to be monitoring us obsessively, breaching people’s privacy. He then came to the house in an angry and threatening way and told us to leave immediately. When I tried to explain, he did not listen and called the police. On top of this, the house was dirty when we arrived. There were only two towels for the entire villa, which is completely unacceptable for such a large property. The fridge contained rotten and expired food, and the host did not bother to clean it properly before handing over the property. We also noticed exposed and uncovered electrical wires in certain areas, both indoors and outdoors. This is extremely dangerous and could seriously put guests’ lives at risk, especially children. The main door use bedroom-type lock, which means the host could enter the house at any time. This made us feel unsafe and constantly worried about our privacy. It was very uncomfortable. We were forced to leave in the middle of the night after only a few hours and lost our whole stay. My child’s birthday was completely ruined. We felt humiliated and treated like criminals for no reason. There was no warning, no calm discussion, and no respect. The host went straight to extreme action instead of trying to solve the problem reasonably. This experience was very disappointing and emotionally distressing. I have used Booking.com for many years and have never been treated like this before. I strongly advise others to think carefully before booking this property. If you want peace of mind, privacy, and respectful treatment, this is not the right place.

My family and I were all highly delighted with our holiday home.
