Lovely place,friendly people ,we loved every minute in there ,hot tub was ready for us and sauna start prepared,quite as well though the night 🌙,would come back again.

− Souna window and doors would need wipe down there was hearts etc from previous people

The property was absolutely wonderful. Hot tub was great and the sauna. All very clean and well kept.

− The tv had no aerial, the light in the sauna and hot tub were not working, was advertised as air conditioned but there was none, only a saucepan in kitchen a frying pan and maybe a toaster would have been handy.

There was nothing positive about this experience. Absolutely horrendous and incredibly disappointing.

− The “hot tub” is a barrel of water heated to an unusable temperature, even after leaving the lid off, adding cold water, and allowing the fire to burn out, the water remained far too hot to enter. The sauna, on the other hand, never warmed up, even after keeping the fire going for four hours. It was completely ineffective and left us smelling strongly of smoke. The lodge itself was extremely cold and full of insects, yes it is in the countryside so insects are expected, however not to such large numbers infesting the entire pod. Although one staff member kindly brought an additional heater, she did not speak to us or acknowledge us in any way, which made us feel uncomfortable. In addition, the cleanliness of the lodge was unacceptable, the glasses were dirty, and there was hair on the bed. Given these numerous issues, we felt we had no option but to leave early. We spent nearly £200 and were only able to stay for a few hours. We didn’t even stay the night or use any of the amenities, yet the hosts refuse to provide any kind of compensation for this booking, as the experience did not meet reasonable standards of comfort, cleanliness, or hospitality.

Lovely accommodation, great farm shop, garden centre fantastic, staff lovely, hot tub really hot 🔥 and sauna great. Fab location DEFINITELY wil be returning 😀

− A frying pan would have been good, can't believe you couldn't get a bacon sarnie for breakfast at the cafe !!
