8.0Delightful cosy well equipped cottage in quiet village.
− Main room lighting too dim to read a book in the evening. Host and Stay management agent were hopeless.

8.0Location. 300m from the river Tyne, and close to prudhoe railway station. The property was generally well equipped and serviced . The swan Inn nearest pub was very well used. Hadrian's wall is also close by
− I can foresee problems with the local youths congregating outside by the monument . Road closure in place towards prudhoe
Perfect location
10.0We found the property quite easy in the dark and went to the front door unfortunately the lock box for the key is at the back of the cottage Which is down an access off the Main Street. There is also parking behind the house, but the entrance is tight between two stone walls The property was perfect for the 3 of us and our little dog, it was spotlessly clean and well furnished We only used the microwave, kettle and coffee machine in the kitchen As we ate at the pub just up the street The shower worked perfectly good temperature We also found the cottage was very quiet no road noise at all Newcastle is easily reached across the bridge where there is the train station
