This was an awesome property and a nice quiet part of Sicily on the ocean.
9.0The location was great, we liked that we were on the beach (across the road) and there were good restaurants nearby. It was an area that was not real busy so there were no crowds. The house was clean and well furnished with a good home feeling. There was off street parking behind a heavy iron gate and a walled in courtyard. This made us feel very secure. The property representative was there when we arrived and we used WhatsApp to communicate our arrival time. We had no problems asking questions on WhatsApp and the representative was quick to respond. Unfortunately we could only stay one night. It would be a great place for a family vacation. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!
− It was HOT! Obviously this is not the owners fault and I was told that it was an unusually hot summer and there was no air-conditioning. Sleeping was uncomfortable because of the heat so some of us slept out on one of the three verandas, this was why we liked the heavy iron gate and walls! The hot water didn't seem to work in the shower but since it was so warm it didn't matter as much. While it was great to have the beach so close, and there were many people enjoying it, there was a lot of trash and cigarette butts and I saw at least one hypodermic needle in the sand. Unfortunately Sicily seems to have a lot of trash building up everywhere. We traveled all over the island and that was our greatest impression. The house was very clean and tidy. You may have to adjust your expectation for the rest of the island.
