5.0Location good, good communication, well equipped property, dog friendly, beautiful surroundings, good garden for dog free reign.
− We had to cut our stay short due to the poor nights sleep the beds were too hard to sleep in. We weren't well rested due to this. Was unfortunate that work was being done on the barn next door too, it wasn't too noisy but would have been better without it. Our main focus for the trip was to get away into the country side for quiet family time away from our busy lives. The price was good, we didn't expect top of the range accommodation, we liked that it was a.little old and quirky. We liked picking out a dvd to.watch as a family, unfortunately we couldn't sleep and woke with aches and pains from the lack of a comfortable mattress, even a mattress topper would of helped.
I would stay again, but it would be nice if it could be modernised.
8.0Clean and comfortable, good location.
− There is a lot they could do to enhance the property and land around it. there is a lovely outdoor area for a BBQ, but it is very overgrown. There is a small outdoor table and two outdoor chairs, but they are old and a bit sad looking. An air fryer would be a good addition in the kitchen, the microwave and toaster are very dated, but they do work.
Very good
8.0Lovely rural location and very peaceful. The barn had everything we needed
− The only thing I could criticise was the noisy floorboards above. Obviously it is an old barn but the people above were very heavy footed and woke us up ea night they got back
Fantastic little bolt hole in Suffolk, look forward to coming back soon.
10.0Great location for me, immaculately clean and very well equipped, great host.
− Suited my needs ideally, check location is suitable for you.
Peace and quiet in undiscovered Suffolk
9.0Everything about the accommodation was fine. It was quiet and comfortable, good TV reception and WiFi. We liked the chocolate biscuits too.
− There wasn't anything we didn't like. It is in a remote part of Suffolk amid a maze of unclassified roads and sat nav is a must.
Very nice and peaceful countryside location without any traffic noises.
9.0No breakfast - it's self-catering.
− Nothing not to like.
