10.0Lovely location, locals were helpful, equidistant to surrounding areas of interest and the local amenities were nice.
A quiet lovely cottage with character
10.0Beautiful cottage with so much character in one of the loveliest spots in the Yorkshire dales. We chose this location to allow us several iconic walks in the area and were so pleased with it. Only 15-30 minutes drive to beautiful places for walk and visit such as Hawes, Bainbridge, Aygarth, Gunnerside, Muker and historic town of Richmond. The cottage had everything we needed. Excellent shower. Comfy beds.. looking right across the church with the beautiful white tower. We truly had a wonderful week. Definitely recommend the short walk around Askrigg to visit the waterfall, one of the several waterfalls you can see when walking anywhere in the area.
