Very homely little cottage stay for me and my family here. It was lovely and modern inside and we all enjoyed our stay

Great location adjacent to parklands, quick to visit the central shops and Sovereign Hill. Comfy rooms, with recently updated bathroom and well provisioned kitchen. Big yard with secure fencing, great for my medium sized dogs. Wood fire was so warm and fun to use!

It had everything we needed, I noticed in previous reviews people commented that it didn’t have things, but the owners have taken that on board as we could see they had things like plastic cups for kids etc.

Overall a fantastic beautifully renovated little cottage close to the main part of Ballarat

The property was so very clean and well presented. There were more than adequate kitchen supplies which was great, such as tea towels, bin bags, items to wash-up with, crockery, glassware, there was a bread-maker (great!), large fridge with ice (it was so great to have ice at hand). Love the we could sit outside. The large bathroom was great, especially good for multiple guests. It was great to have 2 toilets at the property. The shower was great; spacious, and the hot water was so good - great shower-head.

− One of the reasons we chose this property was for the wood fires (kanara's) advertised and that the listing stated there was a coffee machine. Unfortunately, there was only one small log of wood to make a fire (and there were 2 kanara's), and we found that one log was still green and would not burn. There was not enough kindling to make even one fire (but we tried anyway), and we found some green wood (which was not dry/old enough to burn), and there were very large chunks (too big for the kanara's) at the back of the property which appeared to have come from a small tree on the large rental property that had been removed. The coffee machine was disappointing. There were 3 coffee pods available (but we were x3 guests staying for 2 nights/3 days so was inadequate, and the coffee machine was not a common type and we couldn't work out which exact type of coffee pods to buy at the supermarket so we didnt use the coffee machine although we wanted to. The steps at the front gate were stepping-stone pavers and were not secure, and the entrance at the side of the house needed care when using, especially at night.
