− The place was disgusting, the first impression of the place was really bad, as all the piping in the room was exposed and out in the open. There were holes in the corners of the rooms and there were mice faeces strewn over the floor and more specifically in the corners by the holes. In the living room behind the radiator there were old socks; the coffee table was wobbly and could barely hold a coffee on top of it. In the kitchen the toaster wasn’t working, the kettle was burnt and kept switching on and off. There were only two cups in the entirety of the kitchen for use, there was a dirty cooker, the washing machine was full of mould and there was leaking from the pipe. Water kept flowing from underneath the washing machine, which was certainly a hazard as there was an exposed wire at 240V next to it, so I could have gotten electrocuted. In the bathroom, there was no toilet brush, there was lots of black hair in the shower, on the floors and the tiles, and there was mouldy silicone around the bath and mould on the ceilings. You also couldn’t set the temperature to heat in the boiler, so it was cold the whole time.
