Casual Beach Getaway - Pool - Short Walk to Beach♡

I would definitely not stay at any of these properties again. I’ve never had problems messaging a host like I did here.

The bed was amazing! Best thing about my stay.

− No dressers to unpack my bag. I don’t hang the clothes I brought, so the one tiny closet wasn’t helpful. The pool was small but served the purpose of renting a place with a pool and near the beach. I believe the picture of the pool online was taken at an angle to look bigger than it really was. The worse thing was I couldn’t message the host or get it touch with the host easily. Every time I received an email and messaged back, my message did not go through and I’d get an error email back that my message didn’t go through. When I called the phone number, I didn’t get someone at booked.com but instead got a third party person at Silver Stream Management who played messenger between me and the host. I believe it was the 2nd night when it stormed really bad and when getting a roll of toilet paper from the hall closet, I discovered there was a leak getting the shelf wet where the toilet paper and other supplies were located. I called to report it and no one ever called back or came to look at the leak. I also noticed outside appearances on my unit and the other units around me needed upkeep as far as rotten wood not taken care of and vines on units and trees needed trimming etc. Appears to me whoever owns this property cares more about making money and not keeping the property maintained and refresh looking.

The distance to the beach.

− Ceiling fans were disgusting, the bathroom was dirty, the shower curtain was the wrong size and there was about 18" of pink mold on the bottom of it. Not enough parking, cheap stained furniture, the stove was dirty. There was no place to put clothes so you had to live out of your suitcase. In the utility closet there was a cold air return that was open and it didn't have a filter in it. The doorbell sparatically rang, I looked for the button to push and there wasn't any. The laundry room was so small that I had to walk sideways to put my clothes in the washer. The TV services were terrible to try to find something to watch was a nightmare due to no directory on channels. There were 2 other rental units so we had to fight to park our car there when the other unit has a party. Waste of money.
