9.0Great little stay, perched up high to overlook beautiful scenery and beach in the distance. It was peaceful, plus a nice little walk down to the beach and Pohara store. Bed was very comfy. Kitchenette had everything I needed. The weather was amazing, though late autumn, so I spent time reading on the deck. The hot tub was a nice touch for a hot soak before the sun went down. Great shower pressure, nice & hot. I love the compostable toilet too. Great idea.

9.0The view was outstanding!! Quick drive or walk down to the Pohara beach area where you can order an amazing woodfire pizza (with vegan option). The cabin had very a basic kitchen- enough to cook a basic meal for 2. The dishwashing is done outside. Comfortable bed and pillows. Feeding the chook my leftover veggies was a wee highlight.
− A hose to help guide the water for washing dishes outside would be a nice upgrade. Also to have the shower separate from the composting toilet area would go a long way! The smell was quite pungent on a hot day so made showering a little unpleasant.
