− The back patio space was misleading from the photos - also needs a clean. Bed too small for us - king size would be more comfortable.

The annex was a great place for myself, my wife and two Chocolate Labs, the Annex was clean and well appointed with everything you would need to be self sufficient. Beds were comfortable and having full Sky was a nice surprise. The Annex is a 2 minute walk to the beachfront and close to local amenities ( There is a pub that serves food and welcomes dogs about 2 mins away.) The owners were cheerful and polite and left us to our own devices. Overall a very pleasant stay and we will return at some point.

The property was lovely and quiet and easy to find with the video that Elliot sent and how to enter the property. Elliot was quick to respond to us and also helped with local restaurant recommendations. The lounge area was cosy with a nice Loaf sofa and was great having Sky, Netflix etc, as well as normal tv. The beach was lovely and sandy and had a large dog friendly part. Sobo Beach Club which is about 15 minute walk down the beach from the house was great and we spent some time there for breakfast and also lunch and cocktails.

− We weren't aware there was a £500 deposit which was requested, by surprise, on the day of arrival, but was fine and totally understand the need for quests who may damage the property whilst there. It would have been good to know a deposit was required in advance and some guests may not have £500 available instantly. We liked the decor, but did notice that the shower could do with some TLC. The grouting is dirty and could do with a mega clean. Also, it would have been great to have two bedside tables and lamps as we both like to read in bed. There was just the one bedside table. We are used to a six foot wide bed, and the property one seemed tiny at a standard double - but that's just what we are used to. The kitchen was well equipped, but could do with more tea towels and cleaning materials as there is no dish washer. Also there were no oven gloves. Location wise, we did think from the description that the property was with 'unparalleled beachfront' view - but is actually in one of the side roads with a 10 minute walk to the beach.

Lovely property, perfect for what we required, secure area for our 2 small dogs, well equipped kitchen.

Lovely little place, comfortable, clean, perfect location for the beach, excellent coms from the owner, very helpfully & quick response to any query I had. The back area is secure, perfect for our 2 small dog to roam.

− A little surprised the day of arrival to be asked to pay a refundable deposit, that may be an oversight on my part, not reading the booking terms & conditions. The kitchen could do with 1 empty cupboard to store groceries. But I’d be happy to stay again

Relaxing, great break away, in private accommodation close to lovely Southbourne beach.

Great find, 2 minute walk to lovely beach, dog friendly (went in March). Sobo cafe on the beach is excellent and has a great vibe. Easy to visit other places along the cost, sandbanks, Swansea etc. Friendly host easy to deal with, everything as it should be and deposit returned promptly. Nice touch of some treats and a bottle of fizz in the fridge along with some beer!

The location is great near the beach also a stones through from Southbourne town.Southbourne has lots of independent shops to browse and many places to eat .It also has good coffee shops for snacks and of course good coffee.

− The weather could have been better .But that was my fault for going in February.
