Place was clean

Communication was very difficult with the owner to get checked in. Stood outside for an hour at the wrong address that did not even exist.

I had a very disappointing experience staying at this property. When I arrived, I noticed hair all over the shower walls, which made me question the cleanliness of the place. The area also felt unsafe. On my first night, I heard what sounded like gunshots around the property. I informed the host/property about the situation but did not receive any response or concern regarding the safety issue. The host was quick to respond when I asked about having family visit and how much extra it would cost, since I was in town and wanted to spend time with them. I paid the extra fee. During my stay, I was already uncomfortable and ready to leave, but my flight was delayed, and because it was very late, I had no other option at the time, so I booked an additional night. After checking out, I contacted the property about my security deposit. I was told it would take 3–5 business days, but that time passed and I still did not receive it. When I tried contacting the host, my number was blocked, so I had to reach out through Booking.com. The host then claimed there were damages to the towels and sheets, which is not true. I have pictures and videos showing the condition of the property when I left. The deposit was supposed to be $75, but I was charged $100. I feel like the host is trying to keep my money unfairly. The communication was also very rude and unprofessional. I was also uncomfortable with the fact that I was required to provide my ID, and the host now has a picture of my identification. I understand needing verification, but given everything that happened, I do not feel comfortable with my personal information being in their possession. I only stayed because this was a last-minute trip and I did not have many options at the time. Overall, I would not recommend this property. The cleanliness, safety concerns, communication, and handling of the deposit were all very disappointing.

Inside the building was spectacular

I didnt like the entire process after booking. Person i spoke to raised his voice and he was very rude. Then after the fact I notice someone else was in the same unit, that was like after 1am a phone call would have been better. The advertising should be better. This place is located in the most dangerous part of nyc I was scared to death to go outside .2 nights I couldn't sleep there was some other people in the building having sex and I could sweat the man was beating up the lady from 8pm ill 10am. Was so disgusted it made me feel this property was a ghetto bomb house. Sorry I spoke my truth. I would never recommend nor return
