A very quiet location which I loved! The rooms were nice, bed was comfy. The property had everything I needed including a washing machine and tumble dryer and it was clean. The host was very thoughtful leaving tea/coffee and also milk and biscuits. There was parking which is always a bonus. It was a good location to stay and be able to explore the area such as rock beach, polzeath etc…but you would need to have a car to get around. I felt very comfortable and happy staying.

− Lack of communication. I had to message to find out how to get the key. The views from the windows are not what is shown on booking.com but that didn’t bother me. (It might bother others though so have added a picture) The location was a little tricky to find, it might be worth putting a notice on the road with the name of the place? It would also be helpful to have a number 2 so you know which flat to go to. And small things like the clock wasn’t working and the oven trays were dirty (not the hosts fault, people should clean up after themselves!)

Good location for where we needed to be. We only stayed 2 nights, 3 couples. Quite cramped, had we been staying for longer it wouldn’t have been comfortable. But we were out for most of the time so it served the purpose of having somewhere to get our heads down.

− Sleeps 6, unfortunately only a 2 seater sofa. Dining table sat 6 though. Tired in places, bit dated, missing the home comforts. Twin room just had the two single beds and no other furniture, no bedside light or bedside table. One bed pushed up against the window. Door doesn’t close. No where to hang clothes or put a suitcase other the floor or back on your bed when not in use. Decor very dated. Fridge in hallway not kitchen, microwave on top of fridge- not ideal- reaching hot items out at height. Only 4 mugs in kitchen, so not all of us could have a tea or coffee at the same time. Garden furniture all broken. Had we wanted to sit in the garden we wouldn’t have been able to. Light bulbs missing or not working. Communication with owner was not good. Several messages were sent through booking.com asking questions running up to our stay including if we could add another night, not answered. We ended up booking somewhere else for the extra night we needed in the end. Not very easy to find, map location takes you to the wrong property. Had to ask for more detailed directions.

Well presented with everything that we needed - thanks for the tea and biscuits which were much appreciated. The communication with the owner was very good.
