Very poor and not worth the money

Shower was ok but slow

− Cobwebs everywhere The house wasn't clean Very dated not looked after or updated at all Oven was filthy had to use foil No full blinds on the window for privacy Garden was shocking, it was disgusting , weeds , fag ends and overground everywhere for a yard Flag stones at the front were wobbly and felt unsafe when standing on them The furniture in the front room was old and uncomfortable Washing line unfit for purpose as soon as washing went on it fell down No airer in the property to hand clothes on Pots and pans and cutlery had not been cleaned We paid an accidental waiver if we damaged something and if i am honest we should have been paid to stay here Beds were so uncomfortable and soft No positives at all about this rental The pictures show you a false perception of this property I complained from day 1 and was offered a 10% refund , which would cover the damage waiver 😂 The response from owner I booked this including a dog on booking.com and im not sure you could have sorted the yard in the 2 days before we booked the property Also you wanted to come and clean while we were there, with a dog I didn’t want to sit around while a cleaner was there when it should have been done before or if it was left in hood condition it wouldn’t need a clean in the 1st place And im still waiting my refund

− Firstly the property address was not listed on any details it wasn't clear that we had to pay 15 pounds to get the key and the Wi-Fi which was the cost of £7 of something seemed outrageous and on the details for the property there was a telephone number and that telephone and that telephone number was never answered so we got to the property at seven o'clock we got to the address we managed to find the the area we didn't know what number the property was and we weren't 100% sure which rode it was in the only thing we had was an email we tried to email the Host and they didn't respond to the next day so we had to try and go back onto the website and try and find the original booking that we booked with booking.com to see if we can find them address on that booking and we manage to look it up on a map and eventually managed to find the house number and then once we found the house number we found the keypad which was so stiff it was nearly impossible to get The key out The 15 pound that we paid to get the key what's for a damaged waiver but when you got inside of the property the quality and finish of the property well I would think is probably beyond any possibility of paying a damage waiver on the back of this I would like to say I would really appreciate my money back especially the 15 pound this does put into question booking.com's validity of properties and I think it's fair to say the next time I won't be using booking.com I'll find an alternative provider this is a shame as I've only put used booking.com for my hotel's in the past but they have really lost my confidence and there will not recommend them to anybody else I know this probably never get read by anybody and we're just be putting them to the archives but it is appreciated response

We absolutely loved our stay in this clean and welcoming two-storey Birkenhead home! It had everything we needed, with complete amenities and a warm, homely atmosphere that made us feel instantly comfortable. The location was perfect too—so convenient for transport and shopping. We’d happily stay here again!

Perfect location, just outside the city centre, but easy to reach by public transport. Quiet and green, perfect for relaxing after a long day walking around the city.

− The sofa bed did not look very comfortable, so we preferred to sleep more cramped in the beds.
