The "B" for bed(room) was clean, modern, well decorated & well appointed. The shared common area was an added surprise! Get the balcony room (if available). The property is in a kitchy, mostly quiet residential area just outside the old city. It was very well situated to Roma Tiburtina the "other" train station...and a short train ride gets you to the main train station - Roma Termini [do yourself a HUGE favor and eat in the Market Centrale in this station]. PLEASE NOTE: when you arrive into Termini, you are on platform 1 or 2 est. It is quite a trek into the main terminal. Once you know this, you can plan train trips accordingly. We went everywhere we wanted to go from Roma Tiburtina (with one destination adjustment due to track construction & intermittent rail strikes]. While we never, formally, met our "hosts"...they checked in with us daily to be sure we had what we needed. Finally, let's talk the "B" in Breakfast...oh my! Monaco! While it is not "next door", it is just a short walk across and down the street. You get a wonderful pastry & a cafe latte - every morning of your stay.

− If you are reasonably flexible - there should be no downside to these accommodations...unless you count the elevator! It is small, old and the floor is "mushy". We used it twice each day - it did the trick. Oh! DON'T push the floor button until everyone is fully inside - my husband nearly crushed me, twice [the doors don't bounce back open]. After the 2nd time - he wasn't allowed to touch the buttons!
