Situated on the banks of the river, the tented accommodation was extremely peaceful and it was a memorable experience. Johan was very friendly and promptly reacted to our requests. It was generally a very relaxing two days.

− The kitchenette was rather cramped and difficult to negotiate. We had to pay extra for wifi and it stopped functioning after a few hours.

Tastefully done, with so much on offer, and every little detail has clearly been thought through with real care. We stayed self-catering, and honestly, it felt like staying somewhere far more luxurious — without the luxury price tag. The decor is beautiful, the bedding is some of the best we've slept in, and the kitchen is a joy to cook in — beautiful cutlery, a Le Creuset kettle, lovely pots, and even the wine glasses are elegant and fine-stemmed rather than the usual thick, clunky ones. It's these little touches that make all the difference, and it's rare to find this level of quality at such reasonable rates. Mornings on the deck overlooking the river, coffee in hand, were an absolute pleasure — and we also treated ourselves to lunch and dinner at the restaurant, neither of which disappointed. A wonderful chef, truly fabulous food, and again at very fair prices. Then there's the setting itself: sunsets over the water that stop you in your tracks, and birdlife that will delight anyone who loves the outdoors. Johan Opperman and his team made us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived — warm, attentive hosts who clearly love what they do. Excellent value for money, and we can't wait to come back.

− Accommodation a bit rickety, sliding door stiff. adjacent kitchen ate Kubu cottage quite small to work in! Needs a new signpost from Ngoma direction! Ant infestation on sofas on bar veranda!

Absolutely exquisite scenery, stunning tented family ‘apartment’ overlooking the scenery. Really breathtaking. Comfy beds, friendly staff, lovely restaurant deck, delicious food 🙌

− Quite pricey, Lots of ‘extras’ - added on extra taxes (which they did rectify), and extra 3% onto the final payment for paying with a credit card, added an extra rod payment for a fishing trip which should have been included. Would have liked to order something basic for lunch but they only had the option of a much more expensive 2 course meal. Having said all that it was ABSOLUTELY beautiful and if you’re not too concerned with budget it’s incredible 🤩

Propre, fonctionnel, tout les équipements sont présents. Bonne literie. Pour la sortie croisière/Chobe, départ 6h30, vous avez au total 2h pour arriver au point de départ (route, passage frontière, route) idem au retour. On m'avait noté repas sur une plage ?!? Alors qu'il est pris dans un petit restaurant, aussi que le dej'. La croisière est sympa 1h30, ainsi que le game 3h. Grosse journée. Retour 18h30. Un conseil pour la frontière, pas de visa pour les Français, si possible prenez un exemplaire de plus dans l'avion 😉 pourle remplir d'avance, vous gagnerez un peu de temps

− Wifi payant c'est abusé pour le prix du logement. Il faudrait couper quelques arbres car la vue sur rivière n'est pas complète.

Lage ist super. Lodge und Ausstattung auch. Fishing Trip war toll

− Was wirklich genervt hat war dass jede Kleinigkeit in Rechnung gestellt wurde. Internet für 2 Tage Voucher -> musste man ein neuen kaufen für 2 EUR... und das obwohl wir für 1 Nacht und Fishingtrip über 800 EUR dort gelassen hat. Preis Abendessen war auch detulcihe teurer als auf der Karte . Jedes einzelen nicht schlimm, aber dass man für 300 EUR Fishing Tripp dann 1l Benzin nachzahlen soll ist lächerlich.
