Very convenient for a baseball World Series. This was our second part of the week stay and it worked out just fine

I liked how comfortable the bed was in our room. I also liked how cool the room was while we slept.

− The breakfast was ok but could have been better choices and more varieties. The front desk clerks were not friendly at all. Especially the lady that checked us in on July 13. She never greeted us nor did the gentleman. They were always on their phones looking down until someone walked up to the desk. Our first room ( Room 221) had ants crawling on the wall and the air conditioner; the tub was peeling badly and the bottom of the tub looked worn out. The room had a poor odor in it so we had to go get some air freshener to make it smell better. Housekeeping or the front desk would not accommodate us when we told them about the ants. The only thing they said was that they would spray the room. They didnt care that the tub was peeling and worn out. I insisted on a new room and they finally changed us to Room 226, which was right across the hall from our current room. The elevators had sun flower seeds on the floor that someone had spit out and housekeeping didn't clean it at all for almost 3 or 4 days. Overall hotel could have been better. I forgot to say that Room 226 had bad plumbing issues. All throughout the day, the toilet would make a funny noise and water would bubble up in it. The sink held water instead of allowing water to drain down as we brush our teeth or washed our face. We will be visiting Florida again but I truly doubt we will stay at The Sleep Inn and Suites again.

Our overall stay was good.

Location is good; beaches, food, and stores were a few minutes away. The room was overall clean; although, the corners of the tub could use a deeper scrubbing and the sides of the vanity needed wiping down. Breakfast was included and provided decent options. Staff were friendly as well.

− I would have liked for there to have been some pork-free breakfast options such as turkey/beef sausage/bacon. The room was smaller than I anticipated, but it was fine for our short stay. The sink plumbing in the bathroom had a faint but noticeable smell. It occasionally smelled like sewage.
