Everything was perfect for us, even the weather!
10.0Excellent location for walks in the Peak District. Cottage spotlessly clean and comfortable. Pub in walking distance serving great food. Shop nearby for basic essentials. Great hosts who were quick to respond to our questions.

Absolutely loved our stay in this part of the country. Easy access to the Monsal Trail and surrounding villages.
10.0Location, spacious
− Double bed was two twins put together; felt you sunk in the middle. Understand why they have twins but obviously not as nice to sleep in as a double bed is.
A comfortable base to use for exploring the Peak District.
9.0A very comfortable cottage, warm & well equipped, good WiFi, good parking, and we had a pleasant introduction to the cottage on arrival from the hosts. The location is great for exploring the local area. The Crispin, just up the road, does excellent food for when you fancy a local eat out.

The cottage was lovely, warm and spacious and had everything our family needed, including a wonderfully stocked kitchen with all the kitchen appliances and kitchen ware we needed. The owners ( who came to meet us upon our arrival) were so nice and welcoming, and we would love to return in the future.

10.0Beautiful clean cottage in a great location. Beds were super comfortable and the kitchen had everything you could need, including an air fryer! Next door to a pub but it wasn't noisy at all. Sheila was very welcoming and was always on hand for any queries before and during our stay. We've been to the Peak District several times over the years and this is definitely the best place we've stayed!
