Loved the home but not the host

The home is in a great neighborhood location and very private lot. It was quiet yet close to stores and freeway access. The beds were VERY comfortable! Parking was spacious.

− Although I used booking.com to book this home, a rental agency was the contact and their service was not stellar. They did not charge or collect fees for the 2 dogs that I disclosed TWICE in my booking info when they charged me up front the entire amount of our stay (non refundable) yet 48 hrs before my arrival they informed me that they would be charging $70/night for my 2 pugs. They would not confirm my early arrival request (I asked for 2:30 rather than 4pm), the garbage was full when we arrived and would not be picked up again until our departure (6 days later) AND they provided only 2 rolls of toilet paper for 3 people for 6 days and when I let them know we needed more (our 3rd day there) they informed me that I would need to buy my own. So we did. They did send toilet paper the evening of our 4th day…but we had already bought our own. I have booked through booking.com for many years and have never experienced such poor service from a “host”. I would not recommend booking any home that they represent as their customer service is non existent and their business practices are deceptive.
