We made the best of our short stay but it was not because of the property.
5.0The patio was quite nice as we were lucky with the weather. The rooms were large enough as were the beds. The kitchen equipment was adequate.
− The welcome pack was essential cleaning materials so not much fun. A welcome could have been a defrosted freezer with some ice cubes already made. All the table surfaces and the banister rail were a bit sticky. We had to empty the dishwasher from the previous people. We did not feel obliged to put our washed dishes away when we left. We felt there was not much choice in Coniston for our dates, so we plumped for this property, but it was not worth over £700 for 2 nights especially as we had to get out at 09:30 on the Sunday morning.
