Amazing secluded 16th century cottage straight out of a Jane Austen film/ book so quiet peaceful all you can hear are the bees and birds , butterflies flying pass you and red kite in the air flying by , if you want to get away from it all and soak up the beautiful Welsh countryside you won't be disappointed and to finish with a relaxing jacuzzi at night magical thank you Julie for being the perfect host, we will be back next year ✨🐾💖

Nothing if I could give it 💯 stars I would 😁✨🐾💖

Amazing secluded place where you can rewind and forget your troubles

Ceiling in the shower was pretty low, but otherwise clean.

Fun, quirky and feels to be miles from anywhere; superb for adventure, walking or wind down!

9.0

It is well off the beaten track. (- and the track is anything but beaten!). Out in the mid-Wales countryside with more birds than I’ve seen or heard in ages. It is quirky and interesting; somewhere you might expect to see Snow White’s seven companions or Red Riding Hood’s grandmother! The important things were clean - beds, kitchen and bathroom! Plenty of crockery, cutlery, glassware etc And use of the hot-tub! What a place for a hot tub! Gorgeous to get into it, slightly more difficult to leave it for a cold sprint back up to the cottage!! All part of the fun and the experience. . . . Wood-burning fires add to the coziness. We (3adults felt it would be a superb adventure stay for families with children and dogs - they’d have a ball!

Nothing we actually didn’t like - the surrounding track/path can be quite muddy. The amazing wooden, spiral staircase is not easy to negotiate and would be impossible for anyone with limited mobility. Door frames, low beams and a ‘bijou’ bathroom with sloping ceiling are all out to catch the unwary - but so add to the charm of being there. . . Only one really comfortable settee in the lounge along with quite a small chair and a wooden rocker might be a bit of a challenge if the weather was poor on a night in!
