Rent og pent. Fult utstyrt med to fullverdige bad.

Nice apartment in a chalet-style house in a village.

9.0

It's a nice apartment in a small village on a mountainside. Not a lot of stuff around, so it's reasonably quiet, except for the church bell that starts ringing quite early. Having a car is recommended, as closest food stores require some driving to get to conveniently. Check-in happened via whatsapp, and keys were left in the locker box. The interior and facilities aren't the newest, but they are more than adequate and comfortable for a prolonged stay. There's a washing machine, dishwasher; bathtub and a shower in separate rooms. Kitchenette is in the large living room. There's a small room with a TV and a sofa that can be transformed into a bed. which can be separated from the living room with a large door. Wifi is available. There's a fireplace, but we didn't use it. A balcony is also open for use, we used the space to hang dry wet clothes. There are a lot of items scattered around the place, including useful kitchen tools like pots, pans and utensils, and a lot of decorational items and paintings. All in all a pleasant place to be. The host provided an instruction manual book with all the necessary information. We had some additional questions, so he arrived promptly to answer them in person.

Instruction manual provided with the apartment stated that the trash bins were next to the staircase close to the entrance. I am not sure if it was someone else's property in the same building, or it was another guest, but there was a an older man living downstairs claiming that the bins were his, and we should throw our trash away into the bins by the other small house nearby. Which was challenging because none of us spoke Italian, and the person didn't speak any other languages. As mentioned above, the church belfry starts ringing quite early, as early as 7am, and stops at around 10pm. Other than that it was mostly quite good. If I could make some suggestions - having two separate duvets instead of a large single one would be nice for the bedroom with the double bed.

Charming appartement in an alpine style, well equiped with all we needed. Vinigo is a quiet village away from the main road but still offers easy access to this side of Dolomites trips. And it offers great views on the peaks.
