7.0Amazing location!
− The master bedroom smelled strongly of pot. I messaged the host and never heard back.

Lovely and comfortable place.
10.0Third time staying in this place and it’s just adorable..love the small garden and the kitchen has everything you need.
− The mattress could be more comfortable but depends on your liking.
Fell below our expectations and experience of holiday lets.
6.0Beds comfortable. Kitchen space pleasant. Short distance from town centre.
− Cold when we arrived and took some time to warm up. Hard floors, nets and lack of curtains downstairs didn't help it look or feel warm and well looked after. Living room rug dirty. Smears on living room windows and cobwebs on it's small window. Fleece throw in living room full of debris. Toilet bowl looked stained/dirty. Unable to put bathroom radiator on. Alternative fan heater smelly and noisy. Long dark hair on white towels. Throw on bed past it's best/didn't look clean. Emailed concerns and rang when I didn't hear back. Initial phone response not great but they emailed an apology and that housekeeping would action what they could. The windows and rug were cleaned (though it still looked stained and they said they would replace) and throws removed. Otherwise, nothing changed. Later, I realised that what I'd thought was a poor paint job on the far bedroom cupboard was sticky smears. The cooker hood in the kitchen also needed attention. We also got the strong impression that there are problems in this area. A police car with lights on was outside all the first evening. Someone repeatedly hammered on the door on Sunday morning, until we answered and they realised it was the wrong address. A drink was thrown on the wall immediately outside the front door. I would not stay here again.
Great choice for visiting Bury St Edmunds
8.0Great location very close to both the town centre and station. The bedrooms are a good size
− It was chilly when we arrived, so took a while to warm the cottage up. The recycling and waste instructions were confusing and contradictory. The shower area needs a deep clean.

− None ! You need to check the door key; it may need some lubrication.
