Top notch villa, can't wait to be back
10.0Our group of six spent five nights at Villa Licia (previously Villa Recanati) near Chiusi and could not have asked for a better stay. The villa is bright and spacious and has a nice , well-stocked updated kitchen. The views from here (and especially the large balcony) are incredible. The caretakers (Emiliano and Irina) replied to every question quickly, and helped arranged a four-course cooking class with a local chef that was one of the highlights of our trip — they even shared olive oil pressed from the estate’s own trees, which was outstanding. Tip: make sure to bring toiletries/paper goods; we missed that detail, though the caretakers kindly provided enough to get us started. The location makes day trips throughout southern Tuscany easy, and grocery stores / restaurants are just minutes away.
