Cottage okay if you like compact and bijou, needs some updating and outside work
7.0The cottage was lovely, very compact but comfortable.
− The staircase was somewhat perilous, went up on all fours and came down warily. Car parking was also dodgy, parked where instructed tucked as far in to the garden wall as possible, but someone still managed to damage the rear wing resulting in £100 bodywork repair! The local pub that was recommended wasn't too good either. Sorry but couldn't recommend a stay in Satterthwaite I'm afraid.
