Nice mountain but but not very clean :-(
4.0The warm welcome by the friendly owners and that their son was always available on WhatsApp. Bannio is a pretty village, close to Macugnaga and we liked the maze of little streets around the house. The kitchen is well equipped (with a dishwasher!) but there's also a good restaurant close by. There are plenty of towels you can use and the A/C was great as it was hot in July and the bedroom became quite stuffy. The price seems the same for 2 and 6 people, so might be a real bargain for a bigger group. It was one of the cheapest options close to Macugnaga when we were there.
− The furniture is a bit old and the house sometimes a bit dark. The stairs to be bedroom are steep and low, so watch your head. ;) Also the bed is close to the ceiling which might not be for everyone. But we didn't mind any of that. What we really disliked is the fact that it wasn't very clean, especially the bathroom as you can see in the pictures (used razors & toothbrushes, a comb full or hair, used towels, dirty basin and bathroom cabinet). I have no problem with people renting out their (weekend) house but when you have a booking you should make sure the place is clean. As there's a similar review, I think they maybe don't care. I'm not a picky person but the lack of cleaning affected our stay and we felt less comfortable in the house as we were questioning if the rest was properly cleaned. I'm sorry for the bad review but for me it reflects our experience.

We didn't have any trouble finding parking spot 6. The property has smart TV with Netflix and others 7. There's plenty clean towels and linen
