We enjoyed our stay at The Smiddy. Easy to find property, easy parking. Relaxing comfy break.
8.0Property small as expected, but perfectly formed.. Very comfy, and excellent location for easy access to shops, cafes and chip shop excellent. Pleasant location, local people very friendly. Easy walks from the door. Good base for visiting surrounding area.
− Food left in freezer.. Not a problem for us, but could have been if we had freezer food with us. BUT must say, we arrived early and were allowed entry to the property early.. Had we arrived on time maybe the freezer would have been empty!!
I enjoyed everything there.
10.0The location was perfect, and it even had bonus views I didn't expect out of the loft bedroom. Everything was lovely and comfortable and the host was so responsive when I had questions.
− There wasn't anything I didn't like. I'd stay there again and hope to at a future date. I'd recommend this to anyone unless they can't handle stairs or need a bathroom right next to the bedroom.
Great location & everything you need if travelling solo or a couple
7.0Fantastic location. If, like us you are going for the bookshops - you cannot get any closer. Plenty of parking.
− Bed in the single room was very uncomfortable - i didnt get a great sleep. Sofa was also not the most comfortable. Didnt realise bathroom was on different floor from bedrooms - not an issue for us, but may be for some.
