This was a lovely property, it was disappointing to have an issue.
7.0There was enough space for everyone
− We had a problem with the hot water, after travelling in very hot temperatures for 6 hours with 5 children we discovered we had no hot water.
All in all very nice, just lacking a few essentials.

6.0It was really close to Alton towers. And was comfortable and a beautiful location
− Not enough fire starter was provided to start a single fire in the log burner. More than one roll of toilet paper in each toilet would be better
A lovely lodge in a great location, but a few home comforts would have been welcome.
7.0The location of the property was lovely - set amongst the trees and not overlooked by anyone. The weather was really good so the shade was very welcome.
− My only criticism of the property is that it's a bit basic. The sofas in the lounge area were shiny vinyl and there weren't any cushions to make them more comfortable. The table was large but the only chairs were benches that went either side of the table. These were very uncomfortable to sit at for any length of time. Outside there was a wooden picnic bench, and again the seats were backless and uncomfortable. Fortunately we had brought picnic chairs with us that we used in the garden, and also used indoors on occasion.

7.03 bathrooms, close to alton towers. Spacious living area and kitchen
− Hot tub advertised for 8 people however it only had seats for 7. 1 Person had to go in the middle. Showers were freezing after 2 people had showered
