The house was very clean and suited our group well. We especially loved sitting outside and watching the wildlife in the back field 💚

− It was so warm upstairs that it was very difficult to sleep. If we opened the skylight then mozzies came in. So the house could very much do with a couple of electric fans to use on hot days / nights. The triangular curtain in the upstairs bedroom was broken so we also couldn't shut out the light. The smart TV wasn't and wouldn't connect to the WiFi, we spent a good part of one evening, even video calling a tech expert friend to try to remedy this, to no avail 🙁, shame to have wasted this time.

Lovely property located on a very quite location

Wonderful stay in spacious building with very responsive hosts.

The high quality finish throughout, the nice varied artwork, including the large clock, the wonderful rain shower and a large selection of choices on the large tv. The hosts always replied quickly about any queries I had.

− The stairs upstairs are very steep so you have to be careful going up and down using the handrail. The wooden bed was a bit creaky, probably due to the very hot weather.

The location was great. Walks in the woods & by the river. Quality beds & beautiful cotton bedding. Well equipped kitchen with plenty of plates etc & serving bowls. Very comfortable property - there were 5 of us plus a dog. Plenty of parking as we had 4 cars - unfortunately everyone came from different directions.

− Guess the sofa bed could have been more comfortable by adding an extra bit of padding - like a Duvalay topper.

Comfortable and Cosy retreat for a winter getaway with friends

The property was well maintained and clean throughout. There was plenty of kitchenware and crockery for the six of us, and the communal area was great for catching up. Loads of parking (we had three cars between us), and just a short drive to Henley itself.

− The pull-out sofa bed was a little uncomfortable, so on the second day we just slept on the sofa and it was more comfortable. This is completely minor however, and didn’t impact our stay.
