Based on my experiences, I would strongly advise against booking this property

I don’t know. I booked and paid for the property only to be told (after many phone calls that I had made to the owner) that the room had never been available and to go elsewhere - this was 3 hours before I was supposed to check in. I had even messaged with the owner after the booking was confirmed, via Booking.com and had a response that gave no indication that there was a problem with the booking. Dreadful experience.

The entire setup was excellent

− Because the house is on the main street lots of noise from car when you opened the loft window for fresh air. Because it is an artech bedsit the room was congestive couldn't breathe properly I ve to opened the window again the noise from cars at the main street. above toilet close to the ceiling walls was a lots of cobwebs all around. That is all. . Again may be because the refurbishment is new and painted maybe causing the congestive smell

Nothing at all -asked for a refund after we left and got excuses and a slanging match from the owner

− 1 we had arranged to check in at 12 on Saturday but when we arrived we got no answer from landlord - 20 minutes later he called to say room wasn’t ready - took bags back to car and didn’t check in til 415 2 front door to property doesn’t close or lock so not secure at all. 3 communal areas grubby and filled with builders rubbish. 4 when we eventually got in at 415 we were bushed and wanted to rest and change but unfortunately the bathroom absolutely stank— either it’s the drains or the ghost of the poor soul that sh&t themselves to death in there but it is vile. 5stayed 45 minutes with builders banging from downstairs and went out again / arrived home midnight slept in scratchy sheets and left asap in the morning . 6 the fridge is full of someone else’s food so we think this is a bedsit people were moved out of for us. The worst place I have ever booked through booking.com and I would definitely not return. seventy quid,,,,

− My booking was not accepted by the host, because "Booking.Com" had booked the none available room and my money was taken out my account. I have sent "Booking.Com" 2 messages regarding this matter and asked for my money to be refunded, but I have not heard anything from you yet....!
