10.0Wonderfully helpful host. Gorgeous home with lots of space, a full kitchen, mosquoto nets, a huge balcony, and a grill, in a safe and convenient location off the main road. 3 small supermarkets are a short walk away, as well as a lavanderia, beach restaurants, and scooter rentals. Perfect spot adjacent to Playa Cocles, very close to Puerto Viejo's many shops and restaurants, and also close to 2 national parks and the very best beaches in the region, at Punta Uva. On our first day we found a toucan on the front porch, a howler monkey in a nearby tree, and agoutis hopping around the yard at dusk like bunnies.
We had an amazing time and loved the location
10.0The grounds were exceptional and the house was amazing - very well built! The location to restaurants and the beach was fabulous. Fernando was great at communication and very helpful.
− I wish there was AC but understand why there wasn’t due to the open concept to the outside. Fernando was kind enough to bring us a stand up fan for extra coolness at night.
