A hidden gem, perfect for a peaceful getaway
8.0Hot tub was amazing, with beautiful views. Loved the art deco waiter in the living room 😍 coffee machine was a nice touch. The sofas are EPIC and sooooo comfortable
− The bed had a mind of its own, perhaps its on wheels but it moves a lot. The smart tv in front room was not connected to the Internet and couldn't figure it out ourselves which was a shame. The outside space by hot tub could do with some tlc. And perhaps a waterproof cover/ roof to protect you from the rain when in the hot tub. And perhaps a few manuals on how to use coffee machine, electric hob etc.

− Chandelier too low and bulb missing. Bed comfy but easily moved ? on castors perhaps better use of the lounge area if less bulky furnishings ? provide a guide for the kitchen gadgets

Less than 24 hours of a 3 day stay. Noise, more noise, and poor customer service
1.0The venue itself is tastefully decorated. The venue is fully equipped.
− We unfortunately had loud noise from building work on the owners property from 7.30 am of our first morning. Despite 15 plus messages, various audio recordings of the noise sent and asking for a refund to allow us to book somewhere else. This was declined. Very unfortunate, as we explained, we were described in the listing as total peace and quiet in a serene location surrounded by nature. Unfortunately, what we got was music, wood cutting, drilling, and banging. At 2 p.m., we just had to leave. We were offered a bottle of bubbles and a refund for 1 night if we stayed all three nights. Unfortunately, a 3 night stay is only 2 full days, one of which was already ruined by noise. We felt the offer was not acceptable. The vendor should have notified us of the planned work, and we would have not booked. The owner said the builders had moved to the other side of the premises, and the noise could no longer be heard, we again recorded the noise and forward in real time, yet nothing was resolved. We left, notified the lettings agent, and even cleaned for them! The venue could be such a beautiful place. Unfortunately, the owners valued the £ before the satisfaction of its guests
