Pleasant cottage

Handy for the pub (next door!) Close to the castle & 5mins walk to the beach

Entrance/Exit steps lead straight onto the road. Low beam on rear door exit painful for tall people who forget to duck!

The perfect cottage in the perfect location for an amazing beach holiday.

10.0

The cottage was absolutely brilliant! Lots of room, loads of character, very comfortable and everything you needed. The bathroom was large and shower nice and powerful. The bedrooms were spacious and had plenty of cupboard and wardrobe space. The living room was also large with 2 big settees that were very comfortable. And the kitchen was big and kitted out with everything you needed. The gardens in the front and side were mature and very pretty. Finally, the location, it was perfect, though I'd say more a 10 minute walk to the beach, but oh what a beach! Make a point of visiting the castle and church too, absolutely worth spending time in both. Manorbier now holds a very special place in our hearts, and we wouldn't hesitate returning to May Cottage next time we visit - and we will most definitely be coming back.

I think parking could be a bit of an issue in the busy summer holiday months, we were lucky to find a spot about 50 yards away from the cottage, but then just left it there, using the bus service to go out to Tenby.

Cute and cosy cottage stay, perfect base for exploring Pembrokeshire

Very cute cottage, nice location. Perfect for our stay.

Parking was tricker than I anticipated it would be, there’s only one place on the road close by that’s suitable and on a few days it was full. The floors of the property were cold. Fine as we were there late May but if you visit in the winter definitely take slippers!

Beautiful cottage and convenient location if you're exploring Pembrokeshire, as all of the main sights are only a short drive away. It had everything we needed for a 4 night stay.

Would feel a bit more secure if there was some sort of fence around the property as we were travelling with a dog

Peaceful. Lovely property. Well kept and well equipped. Would have given 100% apart from parking. However this is the nature of the village road not the quality of the property

Limitations on parking

Beautiful cottage which was comfortable & well equipped for all our needs. The owner was helpful & brought us an umbrella for the garden during the recent heatwave. We especially liked the beautiful enclosed garden. The local walks from the cottage are stunning & we could see the sun set from the cottage. 5 mins walk from a golden sandy beach.
