Poor, filthy and stressful
1.0− Place was filthy dirty, had to clean before unpacking, towels had to be used in the wardrobes and drawers as lining. Kitchen cupboards were grubby and the oven was terrible as I had to use aluminum foil everytime it was used. The garden was like a jungle and at the side of the house they didn't remove the bin bags. I will never stay here again or recommend it to anyone. We only extended our stay as we were desperate and no other properties were available. We had no WiFi for a week which was a serious issue due to my work. No mop/bucket or cleaning items and we were in this property for 6 weeks.

− Warning. It took 6 weeks to get my housekeeping deposit back. We left the property cleaner than we found it but they still didn't want to return the bond.
Disappointing.
3.0The hosts had provided some kitchen products such as tea bags and washing up liquid. The location was good for accessing Stoke City Centre, and next to a McDonalds which pleased my teenager.
− The house was not clean - whilst the beds seemed ok, the floors were not clean, the skirting boards and floors were dirty, all the blinds or curtains in the property were broken in some way and the bathroom was not very nice or clean (the photo taken is extremely flattering). The front and back doors stuck, so it was difficult to access the property reliably and whilst the hosts were responsive to the Wifi issues, they did not respond to any further concerns. The road is super busy, so would not be great with small children. The back garden was not in a good state, with lots of rubbish piled up outside. It could be much nicer, but feels very run down and needs some attention. The booking check-in felt quite intimidating also, lots of terms and conditions - which for a house in this condition feels very unneccessary. Felt pressured into purchasing a fee waiver for damages, which is ironic when the house is in such poor condition.

8.0Nice bedrooms, lovely decorated, nice and clean, furniture was nice and comfortable and location was close to motorways and town. Kitchen was lovely and hosts very friendly
− WiFi wasn’t working and unfortunately the provider didn’t help the hosts fix it in time. The kitchen could do with a few more supplies like bin bags for instance we had to buy bags, dishwasher tablets etc. it would have been nice to have more bins in the property and extra chairs as we had 5 guests and only 4 dining chairs when you can fit 6 people and maybe extra armchair. It’s worth noting the road is so noisy but once we got past the first night it didn’t keep us awake as much. It’s a busy dual carriage to reverse out on but it didn’t spoil our holiday.
