Was alright other then when we checked in and the guy was being rude

Very disappointing , avoid if you can.
2.0Location was good
− Smashed window in room on check in, reception said it's getting fixed tomorrow. Beds in all our rooms were uncomfortable, springs in your back and no Mattress Toppers. Fire Alarm went off four times in the night between 11 and 6, Reception said a guest had left their shower running????. Our showers had varying pressure so temperature went from scalding to freezing. Some chairs in the lounge had been torn at the seam and there had been attempts to repair using staples. Toilet Brush in room was disgusting, smelly and still soiled. We had booked three rooms for a family occasion over two months ago requesting rooms to be close if possible, and despite hotel contacting us before our stay confirming this request, and understandably not able to be guaranteed due to demand, we found our party was split onto separate floors .

Good to know
The Ocean Beach Hotel & Spa has a solar heated outdoor pool. During the winter months this is closed but guests are welcome to use the indoor pool sauna and mini gym in the Suncliff Hotel which is directly next door. Please note that restricted opening hours and age limitations apply for the outdoor pools.
If dinner is not requested upon booking then there will be an extra charge in addition to the stated amount.
Please note that onsite parking is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis and chargeable at £12.00 per car per night. Street parking on the seafront is available via pay and display machines. It is not possible to reserve parking prior to arrival.
Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by Central Reservations. Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.
For all payments made and booking types the card holder must be present on check in and the same card must be presented for a security swipe via chip and pin on arrival, failure to provide the same card will result in the payment being refunded to the original card and an alternative payment method requested before check in will be permitted. The property reserves the right to charge bookings in full up to 48 hours prior to arrival during weekends and peak times regardless of reservation policies.
