Comfy, clean, fun, well located and good value.
10.0Martina and Jason were great fun and superb hosts. The comfy and good value rooms are above their very busy cafe in the centre of Newport town. I can’t fault their hospitality, rooms and breakfast. My Labrador loved it, despite being in the middle of a heatwave.
− Nothing really. Deliveries early one morning to the supermarket opposite weren’t great but hardly our hosts’ fault.

8.0The staff were so friendly and helpful and the room, although small, was lovely. Breakfast at the cafe below was excellent. Our dog was made very welcome too!
− The curtain let in a lot of very early summer morning light - a blackout blind would be a great addition. A small thing: there were four very fat pillows on the bed, perhaps a mixture of two fat and two flatter ones would suit more guests' tastes.

Hidden gem in Newport village
10.0This is a hidden gem in Newport. Beautiful en-suite rooms above the Blas cafe. The hosts and all the staff in the cafe were so friendly and welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. We had lunch and both our breakfasts and food was delicious. The weather was so beautiful we sat out in the garden one night and the staff left us plates, cutlery etc. We can’t recommend this place highly enough. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
