it's only one apartment in a whole private properties,, hard to access by uber or delivery services, far from the park next door because of the fence around it and far from the town , we were evacuated the next day just because we were three small sized persons

− didn't like the way treated hard to understand check in

Charming cottage. Good location.

− What a shock to learn that in the midst of Summer I had arrived at my accommodations, which upon entering, felt like a sauna. Outside was a glorious 70F. I started to look for the air conditioner but there was none. Next, I frantically tried to open the windows but only 1/2 of one window in the entire apartment could open and that was in the bedroom. The sole window in the living area was sealed with a hard plastic covering! The skylights in the kitchen seemed to compound the issue and create this greenhouse effect. And, as if it could not get worse, there was not one single fan to be found! I tried several times to call a number given to me but no one answered. I immediately emailed and they responded by telling me (a google fact apparently) that only 5% of UK homes have air conditioning. I’m an island girl. I can deal with the heat. What I find amazingly UNACCEPTABLE, is that it should be clearly stated on your booking sites that you do not have AC (unless you rent solely to UK residents), only half of one window opens and there is absolutely no ventilation or fans. I ended up leaving immediately and forfeiting my nearly one week stay. A very charming cottage and a lovely location but do not make the same mistake I did… it is just as important to pay attention to what’s not said, as what is!

It was spotless and very well equipped. Close enough to all amenities.

− Would have loved an outside area designated to the annex. Even though it said we could use the garden there I felt like I was encroaching the family’s privacy.
