Perfect, dreamy place for a romantic, postcard honeymoon!

Breathtaking sea views from the living room window/balcony. Spacious, modern appartment. Superb sun roof on top of the building, for all appartments combined, with sun-beds, little tables and chairs for dining outside with an even BETTER view of the sea and the islands/bay (and Capri!). The surroundings are dreamlike, Sorrento and the Amalfi coast, I mean - WOW! We had a lot of friendly help from Amedeo, who can organise any excursion, rental, etc, for you, plus he also has a long list of recommendations in local Massa Lubrense as well as for Sorrento. There is so much to see and most of the times you feel like you are walking in a Postcard. We went there for our honeymoon, and it is super romantic! We did the Amalfi coast on a scooter, which is highly recommended, because the streets are rather narrow, and to see those magnificent panoramas from inside the confines of a CAR would have been almost a CRIME.

− Massa Lubrense is quiet, VERY quiet....so if you want to get away from the city life and all its troubles, this is perfect. However, if you are young and want a WEE bit of night-life, you might struggle a bit. That being said, Sorrento is not far away (about 20 minutes on a scooter) and it has a bit of night life and clubbing options around the harbour in spectacular locations for you. Everything is expensive in that part of Italy, though, so make sure to grad enough cash. Yes, I said CASH, because not everyone, actually very few places, are equipped to take cards. Also beware of hidden costs! From sudden administrative fees, to charging again for the last part of a trip you actually paid for, there might be some nasty, and frankly inexplicable, surprises. Also, it said on booking.com there was a FREE airport shuttle from Napoli to Sorrento...that is NOT the case!!!! It actually costs 150€! But there are bus services to Sorrento train station and taxis from there to Massa Lubrense, which I would strongly recommend. (Amedeo can also help you out, here!) If you do that, those holidays will turn out dreamy, like our honeymoon! :-)

Great place to relax

Our host Marco was really nice and the view was really nice with amazing sunset . Bed really comfortable and we could do Loundry which was big plus during long travel. Also was nice escape and quiet location after long drive over the coasts.

− The access to property is definitely only for people with car or motor.

The house Amedeo was amazing. He helped us with local recommendations and even helped us book activities.

Gorgeous views but air con didn’t work and towels provided were soiled.

Gorgeous view of the water and for sunset Host was very responsive and recommended some good restaurants.

− Air conditioning didn’t work, so I was overheating, towels that were provided weren’t clean - they were completely soiled, filled with dirt and make up from previous guests. They should have been discarded. Definitely need a car because it’s too far to walk into town and cabs are a complete rip off.
