9.0Huisje. Ligging in het groen. Vriendelijke sfeer.
− Onduidelijkheid over zwembad. Er was een binnenzwembad maar dat stond niet duidelijk op de kaart. Op de kaart stond een outdoor pool maar die was niet bereikbaar of beschikbaar.

9.0Loved our stay overall. Great to have bifold doors onto the balcony and we appreciated how well equipped the kitchen was, as well as the lodge being walking distance to the local village pub. Beds were comfy, and it ticked a lot of boxes for a group/family break. Would be happy to go back again.
− Some of the valley view lodges have partially obscured views over the valley in the summer when the trees in front are in full leaf. It was exceptionally hot during our stay so I requested 2 fans but only one was provided and my message requesting the second one was never answered. The living room could do with some low level lamps to soften the lighting. All pretty minor things, overall we were very happy with our stay.
Disappointing
3.0The hot tub was nice and the beds were comfy, the fridge was great.
− There were 4 wasps when we first entered the lodge and I got stung but after that we never saw anymore, the lodge was far too hot to sleep in upstairs, the pool and 'spa' looked really run down and the outside pool wasn't open as in hot weather too many people would want to use it apparently! This was advertised and still is but not open. In the run down indoor pool there were never more than 3 people so I don't know how it would be too busy. It really needed an air conditioned bar or somewhere to get relief from the heat. I did complain and was given a fan.

− Was expecting a golf course nearby, but was apparently closed recently. The house needs some additional sun protection, otherwise it is difficult to sit outside during the day if it is hot and the sun is shining.
